From Dreams of the Stars to Building A Digital Future
The financial strain of education has made my Computer Science journey incredibly difficult, and securing sponsorship is now more than a dream; it's a necessity for my future. Last year was incredibly difficult; I worked hard for minimum wage while trying to stay in uni and find other possible resources! The risk of dropping out loomed constantly, filling me with anxiety and making it hard to focus on my studies, passion and life as a human. Securing sponsors will allow me the financial freedom and support to focus more on studying and helping people! and this is my only hope.
Despite the fear I try hard to find more passion in this field since 2025 that lead me to network , industrial visits and work with people. However, something changed at the beginning of 2025 and I started to shift more into my school side, putting more effort into that and finding other means and ways to cope with my financial state. I started learning more by helping others and trying to be more skillful, more than earning money with no meaning! It was really meaningful more than being paid. In doing so, I gained hope and strength and saw I can actually balance both! It helped me see that if I can find resources and means, I can contribute more to the field and find my strengths and weaknesses. This year, I'm determined to make the most of my opportunities and find a way to continue pursuing my degree without the constant fear of financial collapse.
Despite the challenges, I discovered a real passion for computer science especially cybersecurity, where I see endless possibilities for innovation and impact. While astronomy was my first love, now the idea of using technology to protect people and systems from harm is incredibly appealing, and I am excited to dive deeper and get to know it more. I aspire to pursue a research-based master's degree in cybersecurity or a related field and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that make our digital world safer and more secure. As I look forward to my career, I wish to be in some good leading role in the tech field as a researcher or even someone who is helping those like me! To make a society a better place in that way!
My volunteer work with TechTutors is incredibly meaningful because it allows me to empower seniors with computer skills and connect with them on a personal level. Seeing the impact I can have on people's lives by teaching them essential computer skills is deeply rewarding. By helping seniors navigate the digital world, I'm empowering them to stay connected with loved ones, access important information, and participate more fully in society. These things that I have achieved with volunteering showed me I'm more into helping than getting the benefits out of the outcome! It also influenced me to go out of my way and help the new students in uni with their struggle!
Looking back, my high school experiences, especially my volunteering mindset, instilled in me a sense of discipline, leadership, and commitment to service that continues to guide me. Being involved in NSS and NCC instilled in me a sense of discipline, leadership, and commitment to service. Those experiences taught me the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and giving back to my community – values that continue to guide me in my computer science studies and my volunteer work. I'm also in unibuddy helping people with mental health and other struggles in their uni life!
I am now focused and determined on achieving my goals while always trying to connect with people and create opportunities, hoping to inspire others along the way. This year, I'm focused on making the most of my opportunities at the University of Wollongong. As Vice President of the DICE club, I'm working to connect students with opportunities in computing and creative media. I'm also involved in Unibuddy, PARTS club, dance and music practices, and various other organizations that allow me to connect with others and give back to my community. The journey is hard, but it's worth it.
Your support through sponsorship or donations can change my life and allow me to contribute to society, and it would mean more to me than words can express. I am truly grateful for any support I receive. Every donation brings me closer to achieving my goals, making a difference in the lives of others, and shaping the future of technology. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

High School Journey and Achievements
My journey wasn't exactly straight, but the unexpected turns have shaped me into who I am today, and I'm determined to make the most of them. Like many, my journey had some turns from what I initially planned to be in life. Growing up, I dreamed of studying in the US and becoming an astronomer, exploring the universe from a whole new perspective and discovering new things. But reality hit hard, and my dream was shattered, leaving me feeling lost and uncertain. Since I cannot find such related course that I can enroll and afford! I ended up in computer science. What was I supposed to do if there were no available resource or a kind-hearted angel to fund me? The lack of resources, financial means, and accessibility made me think a lot, and in the end, I ended up choosing the course that gives a secure and stable outcome! But, this is now where I want to show the world my passion for something and make a difference.
